Follow the arrow molded into the valve body; the internal diaphragm is designed for one direction.
Pressure required
This is not a zero-pressure gravity valve. The listing specifies at least 0.02 MPa / 3 PSI.

Controller and pressure note
Do not drive a solenoid coil directly from a microcontroller pin. Use a correctly rated driver, flyback protection and power supply, and test the plumbing for leaks while supervised.
