PlantMate Automatic Watering Cube is designed for indoor plants, ensuring they receive the right amount of water to thrive. Different plants have different moisture needs, yet we often forget to water them or aren’t sure how much they require. Too much water can be harmful, and more often than not, plants don’t get enough.
To keep your plants healthy and flourishing, we’ve introduced this adorable smart cube to your home. It automatically monitors soil moisture and provides the right amount of water as needed, no guesswork required. Running on battery power with no wires needed, the system checks your plants every 6 hours, ensuring they stay hydrated and happy.
The PlantMate Smart Irrigation System is a robust and efficient solution for automated plant watering. Its modular design, power management features, and user-friendly interface make it suitable for both hobbyists and commercial applications. With further enhancements, it can evolve into a fully connected smart gardening system.
The system enters Sleep Mode after a brief period of inactivity and remains inactive for 6 hours. Press [WakUp] button to resume operation if required.
How it Works:
The Soil Moisture Sensor checks the soil moisture every 6 hours. If the soil moisture is below the moisture level, the water pump will pump water to your plant.

- How to set up and check the status?
A: Press the [WakeUp] button. ④ ① - What kind of battery is needed?
A: 4 AA 1.5V batteries. For better results, recommend Duracell - How long do the batteries last?
A: The batteries can last for a year for normal use. - How to do calibration?
A: Navigate to Screen 5-Calibration, leave the sensor in air (completely dry), press OK to capture, A ✓ checkmark confirms saving then, place the sensor in a cup of clean water, press OK to capture, A ✓ checkmark confirms saving. - Why is the device doing nothing while it is in sleep mode?
A: When asleep, the Cube is completely inactive. It will NOT water your plant, even if the soil is dry or the sensor is exposed to air. It will be inactive for 6 hours, then wake up on its own to check soil moisture. To wake it up, press the [WakeUp] if needed. - Why does the water flow only work on the ‘High’ pump speed setting?
A: We recommend the water pump speed setting always at “HIGH”. If the tubing is too long, or if the plant pot is much higher than the water tank, the pump may struggle at low speeds. This makes the water appear to be either too weak or not flowing at all. - Can I use wall power instead of the battery?
A: Yes. You can use a USB Type-C cable connected to a 5.0V USB adapter to use wall power or another power source. - The device indicates” check water needed,” but the water level is full.
A: Ensure the soil moisture sensor is correctly positioned relative to the water nozzle. If it’s too far away, it may not detect moisture accurately. Position the sensor closer to the nozzle for accurate detection.
