Water according to the soil

PlantMate uses its soil moisture sensor to decide when watering is needed. When moisture is below the selected target, the Cube waters and checks the result. It can run up to three watering cycles, with a 15-second soak period between runs, and stops early after the soil reaches three stable readings at 5% above the target.

Set it for your plant

Choose a target moisture from 0% to 98% in 2% steps, select Low, Medium, or High pump flow, and choose a maximum water time from 2 to 20 seconds in 2-second steps. Recommended starting settings are 92%, High flow, and 8 seconds. Adjust them after observing how your plant, soil, pot, and water placement respond.

Low-power daily operation

After setup, the Cube normally sleeps and wakes about every six hours to check the soil. Press Wake Up at any time to view live moisture, battery level, settings, calibration, and the last confirmed watering.

Alerts that keep you informed

If watering produces less than a 2% total moisture increase, the display briefly shows REFILL WATER and the blue LED continues flashing. At 5% battery or lower, the red LED flashes and pumping is blocked to protect reliable operation.

Flexible power

Use four matching 1.5 V alkaline AA batteries installed together, or a regulated 5 V USB supply with a USB-C cable. Battery life varies with pump use, settings, battery condition, and environment. Batteries, USB power supply, USB-C cable, and water reservoir are not included.
