Power conversion and sensor conditioning on one small board
The module is intended to support Arduino-class DIY projects that need multiple voltage rails plus signal conditioning for the matching PlantMate capacitive water-sensor plate.
What this item is designed to do
Multiple rails
The board exposes 3.3V and 5V outputs plus an adjustable higher-voltage rail for a suitable small load.
Sensor interface
Condition the matching capacitive plate signal for a 3.3V- or 5V-class microcontroller, selected by jumper.
Controlled Mini-USB load
The load-control section drives the Mini-USB-connected pump; the separate header outputs are not controlled by that section.
What is included
- 1 PlantMate converter/comparator module
- 1 six-pin header
- 1 Mini-USB male connector
Check before ordering
- Soldering and basic electronics skills are required
- Set the MCU voltage jumper correctly before connecting a controller
- Verify supply current, load current and thermal conditions
- Use the linked instructions for the matching sensor/pump setup

Electrical design note
Do not assume that the maximum voltage and maximum current are available simultaneously. Confirm supply capacity, regulator temperature, wiring and the connected load before operating the assembled circuit.
